Bengaluru Bulls
The Bengaluru Bulls look tired and jaded at the moment. They have failed to put up any sort of resistance in the previous few matches with their rejigged defense not being much better either. The onus of scoring points has fallen completely on Pawan Kumar Seharawat but his form has also slipped just a bit. It is not as if he is not getting points, he is still getting Super-10's, but without any sort of significant support, his performances have not been enough to get the team the victories they need.
We are afraid, it appears as if the Bengaluru Bulls are in a death spiral right now and it will take something special to lift them out of this rut.
UP Yoddha
UP Yoddha fell short against Puneri Paltan in the previous match and suffered a shock defeat. That would have been a real eye-opener for UP Yoddha that seemed to have found its rhythm just a few weeks back. Surender Gill is easily the best raider in their squad and while Pardeep Narwal continues to be effective, we don't really think teams are too worried about him nowadays.
If Shrikant Jadhav can start to contribute a bit more then it would take the pressure off of Gill as well.
Nitesh Kumar leads a strong UP Yoddha defense. There are no real weaknesses in the team but it does seem to be a team that varies in performance quite markedly from one match to another.
The UP Yoddha team has scored the second-most number of points in PKL 2021-22.
We are going to bet on UP Yoddha to win this match. Neither team seems to be at its best right now but the recent performances of the Bengaluru Bulls just don't fill us with any confidence. Surender Gill may be able to influence this match in favor of UP Yoddha with support from Pardeep Narwal and Shrikant Jadhav.
Bet on UP Yoddha to win.
