Bengaluru Bulls
Five wins and a tie from seven matches has put the Bengaluru Bulls in a strong position right now. They certainly are proving themselves to be among the best teams of the Pro Kabaddi League but cannot things for granted.
Pawan Kumar Sehrawat and Chandran Ranjit give the Bulls a better attack than most other teams. Not only is Pawan Kumar Sehrawat am elite raider but we believe Chandran Ranjit to be one of the best backup raiders in the league as well.
The defense for the Bengaluru Bulls has not been the strongest but it is certainly good enough to keep the pressure on the struggling UP Yoddha offense.
UP Yoddha
One win and two ties for UP Yoddha this season have placed it at 10th place in the standings right now. That is a fair assessment of how the team has played in our opinion.
There were some positives though in their defeat to Dabang Delhi KC. Pardeep Narwal scored nine points and showed glimpses of his best. We don't think he is ever going to be the dominant force he was a few seasons back but even at 75%, he can help UP Yoddha win a lot of matches.
The other positive was the performance of Shubham Kumar in defense. He kept Naveen Kumar under check in the first half, something no one has been able to do in a very long time. If Nitesh Kumar find his best self then maybe UP Yoddha can become a defensive force once more.
The fact remains, though, that UP Yoddha had been off the pace and matching up to the Bengaluru Bulls is not going to be an easy task at all.
The Bengaluru Bulls have the second most successful tackles and the second most successful raids in PKL 2021-22. This is a deadly combinations and shows that the Bulls don't really have a major weakness.
We are going to bet on the Bengaluru Bulls to win. They have a better raising attack and their defense has also been in great form. UP Yoddha has shown some good signs but it is still pretty far off the pace in our opinion.
