Bengal Warriors
The Bengal Warriors have now failed to produce a convincing raiding performance in their last two PKL matches and the management would be getting a bit worried. This is not the time of the tournament where teams want to lose form. The Bengal Warriors are very well placed in the league standings in fourth place but a couple of losses could change that quickly.
Maninder Singh, K Prapanjan, and Mohammad Nabibakhsh are going to need to work hard against a strong Puneri Paltan defense.
Jeeva Kumar, Baldev Singh, and Rinku Narwal will be leading the defense and hoping to keep Puneri Paltan’s offense under control. The Bengal Warriors have a lot of depth in their side. Mohammad Nabibackhsh is a genuine contributor in both the aspects while the presence of three genuine raiders makes sure that an attacking option is available on the mat at all times.
The real challenge for the side is going to be getting its mindset right. They need to be more aggressive and assertive without being reckless. That is something the Bengal Warriors have struggled with in recent games.
Puneri Paltan
The availability of Nitin Tomar is in doubt after a heavy blow to him in the previous game. In his absence, Pankaj Mohite and Manjeet are going to leading the Puneri Paltan offense. Both these two young raiders have been very effective at getting the needed raid points for their side.
A lack of experience sometimes shows up in their inability to judge match situations and when it might be better to sit back but that is something they will figure out soon enough.
The real threat from the Puneri Paltan side is going to come from the defense. Surjeet Singh and Girish Maruti Ernak have to be at their best to keep the Bengal Warriors raiding unit under control. The Bengal Warriors may not have scored points freely in the previous two matches but that was the raiding unit with the most number of points till a very short while back.
Puneri Paltan is up against a team with the best points difference and needs its two most senior defenders to be at the top of their game.
The head to head between the Bengal Warriors and Puneri Paltan is locked at 6-6 with one additional game being tied.
The Bengal Warriors have struggled in the previous two games and this is an excellent place for the Puneri Paltan to pick up an important win. It may be difficult of Nitin Tomar does not play this game but we still think betting on Puneri Paltan is the smart play here.
Bet on Puneri Paltan to win.
