Gujarat Fortune Giants
There were a couple of very positive signs for the Gujarat Giants in their previous match against the Telugu Titans. Parvesh Bhainswal picked up his first High-5 of the season and finally seemed to get some momentum. He is absolutely integral to their Gujarat Giants defense and lifts the entire team. They also found a brilliant performance from Rakesh who ended up with 16 points on the night. If the Gujarat Giants can build on that and actually get some more of their starters in form then they may have something to work with. We are not convinced that is going to happen, though.
The raiding department has been woeful for the Gujarat Giants and the defense has yet to perform against the stronger teams in the PKL.
Bengaluru Bulls
The Bengaluru Bulls dominated Dabang Delhi KC in the previous match and scored the most points for any team in one match this season. They ended up 61 points and Pawan Kumar Sehrawat had 27 on his own! These are ridiculous numbers and will surely fill the team with a lot of confidence. That was a perfect performance from a team that has been reliably brilliant this season. With Bharat and Chandran Ranjit for support, the Bengaluru Bulls have the upper hand in the raiding department.
Their defense is not the most reliable, however, we do think there is more than enough quality to hold its own against the Gujarat Giants in this match.

The Bengaluru Bulls have 169 successful raids in PKL 2021-22, just one short of Dabang Delhi KC, while the Gujarat Giants have just 128. The Bulls also have 91successful tackles this season compared to just 60 for the Gujarat Giants.,
Verdict
We are going to back the Bengaluru Bulls to win this match. They have the better offense and their defense is also in better form. Just one win against a winless Telugu Titans is not enough to convince us that the Gujarat Giants have turned a corner.
