A loss in the opening match of its home season would have disappointed the Haryana Steelers. Vishal Kandola, who has been so brilliant this season, has suddenly lost form and is struggling massively to have an impact.
Vishal Kandola is the heart of this Haryana Steelers team and we believe they are going to find it very difficult to win without having him at his best. Hopefully for the home team, his previous few matches have been just a slump in form and he will be back to his best soon.
Prashant Kumar Rai and Naveen can possible take up more responsibility and help carry the side until Kandola is back at his best,
Dharmraj Cheralathan will be leading the defense as he has done so all season. There were too many mistakes being made by the Haryana Steelers defense in the previous match and the senior defender is going to be hard on his team to avoid the same against Gujarat.
Gujarat Fortunegiants
The biggest victory for the Gujarat Fortunegiants this season would have given it some confidence going into this important match. Every match is a must-win match for the Gujarat Fortunegiants now and there is absolutely no room for error.
Rohit Gulia and Sonu Jaglan are probably going to be the raiders that lead the attack in this match considering their recent form. The raiding has been a big problem for the Gujarat Fortunegiants this season as they have not had enough points to be able to get consistent wins.
This has put a tremendous amount of pressure on the defense as well where some cracks have emerged too.
Parvesh Bhainswal and Sunil Kumar are exception defenders but they need some help from the raiders too. They showed just how effective they could be when the raiders helped add some pressure on the opposition as well.
The pair of them will e confident of doing well against the Haryana Steelers if the raiders can once again do their job.
The Haryana Steelers enjoy a 4-2 advantage over the Gujarat Fortunegiants with an additional match being a tie.
The Haryana Steelers have to be the favorites going into this match considering their performances this season. All the onus is on Vikash Kandola, though. We think he is going to lead his side to a win if he is in form or else the Gujarat Fortunegiants will manage to pull off an upset. It may be worth betting on the upset at this point in time.
