The Haryana Steelers saw a very good performance from its raiders. Unlike in previous matches, it was not just Vikash Kandole doing all the work either. Rohit Gulia and Vinay were excellent and scored throughout the match at crucial times. There was no Meetu on the mat and we are not sure if that was because of injury or just the team trying out some different combinations.
Jaideep continued his stunning run as defender and picked up another HIgh-5. He could be the find of the tournament so far for the Haryana Steelers. If you look at the manner in which PKL 2021-22 has panned out for the Haryana Steelers, you will find that they have been quite inconsistent.
Gujarat Fortune Giants
The Gujarat Giants managed to win against the Tamil Thalaivas in their previous outing. That was a difficult match-up but the Gujarat Giants found a new player to rally around. Mahendra Rajput played brilliantly to lead the side to a win and he was well supported by Rakesh. Of course, the raiders had the support of an excellent performance from the Gujarat defense.
Sunil Kumar, Parvesh Bhainswal, and Ankit combined to stop a very impressive Tamil Thalaivas attack. There is no question why they cannot do the same thing once more, however, if the Gujarat Giants have just not been consistent enough to bank on during PKL 2021-22.
The Gujarat Giants are dead last when it comes to Total points scored in PKL 2021-22. The Haryana Steelers are in fourth place on the same table.
We are going to bet on the Haryana Steelers are going to win. They have a better attack and their defense is also in good form. The Gujarat Giants have found some momentum in recent matches but we still don't think they have turned a corner.
