Jaipur Pink Panthers
A dismal performance form the Jaipur Pink Panthers offense was almost offset by a brilliant performance from its defense. While the performances of Vishal, Nitin Rawal, and the others are massive pluses for the Jaipur side, the lack of points from its offense is going to be worrying.
The Jaipur Pink Panthers are up against one of the best sides in PKL 2019 and they cannot afford to have any glaring weaknesses. Deepak Niwas Hooda scored just four raid points in his previous match and continued to struggle.
He was the man to go to in the first seven matches that Jaipur dominated and he must try and reprise that role once again. It may be too much to ask of the Jaipur Pink Panthers defense to try and stop the most prolific scoring side of PKL 2019.
Bengal Warriors
Brute strength was on display as Maninder Singh and Mohammad Nabibakhsh displayed just how difficult they can be to stop on the mat. The pair of them outmuscled the Haryana Steelers defense and left them awestruck.
Maninder Singh has been the best of the raiders for the Bengal Warriors but he has hardly been alone in his endeavors. The form of K Prapanjan, Sukesh Hegde as well as Nabibaksh makes the Bengal Warriors the most difficult side to defend against.
We think that this set of raiders should be able to outscore the struggling Jaipur Pink Panthers with a fair bit of ease.
Jeeva Kumar and Baldev Singh will be leading the defense alongside support from Rinku Narwal. This is a very good defensive unit although we would just like a bit more restraint from Rinku Narwal. Mohammad Nabibakhsh is also a genuine all-rounder and contributes in the defense regularly as well.
The Bengal Warriors have a 7-4 lead over the Jaipur Pink Panthers in the head to head matches.
The Bengal Warriors are firm favorites going into this match. They have better current form, a far superior raiding unit, and a very good defense. The home team is going to struggle massively to end its losing streak in this match.
