Jaipur Pink Panthers
The Jaipur Pink panthers turned up in their match against the Haryana Steelers but could not get the win. Deepak Niwas Hooda, who had 15 raid points in his five matches previous to the match against Haryana Steelers, scored 14 points out of the 16 the team got.
This dependence on Deepak Niwas Hooda is nothing new for the Jaipur Pink Panthers and it must be a relief to see him back in form. The other raiders were left scoreless against the Steelers and they must up their game against Patna Pirates.
Jaipur Pink Panthers have not been able to win a game in the previous five matches and have now slipped to the seventh position. Another loss here will dent their chances of entering the qualification zone heavily.
The task of stopping Pardeep Narwal is going to fall on Sandeep Dhull, who is the most dominant defender for the Jaipur Pink Panthers. Like Deepak Niwas Hooda, Sandeep Dhull is critical t the success of the side.
Patna Pirates
A crushing defeat over the Tamil Thalaivas was probably the best that the Patna Pirates have played this season. Pardeep Narwal ended up scoring 26 points as the Pirates took advantage of a crumbling Tamil Thalaivas team to make merry.
There were 14 tackle points for the Patna Pirates defense also, something that has not been happening for the last few matches. If the Patna Pirates have to find a way to win against the Jaipur Pink Panthers then they need to keep Deepak Niwas Hooda under control.
Jaideep is going to lead the attack and will be well supported by Hadi Oshtorak.
Pardeep Narwal is the among best of the raiders, not only in the Patna Pirates but the entire league. He is showing signs of getting back to his best and has the capability of winning games on his own. It will be interesting to see if he is able to find a way to outshine Deepak Niwas Hooda in this match.
The Jaipur Pink Pantehrs have five losses and a tie in their last seven matches while the Patna Pirates have six losses and one win in their previous seven. Neither of these sides is in good form.
We think the old warhorse, Pardeep Narwal, is finding his best form and is going to come hard at the Jaipur Pink panthers. The Pink Panthers, though are the better overall side and should be able to get enough raid points to stay ahead.
