Just one win from 13 matches shows just how big of a disaster PKL 2021-22 has been for the Telugu Titans. They have just not been able to find any sort of rhythm and even when they are competitive, they seem to end up on the wrong side of the result. Ankit Beniwal has been one of their few bright spots this season alongside Rakesh Gowda. The defense has been quite inconsistent and tends to crumble under pressure.
The Titans must want to hope that their run of bad luck has ended and now things will turn around. It will take a miracle for them to even come in contention for the playoffs, though.
Patna Pirates
The Patna Pirates have been our favorite team of PKL 2021-22. They found the going a bit tough once Monu Goyat started missing a few matches but he is expected to be back for this match. That would mean that Sachin, Monu Goyat, and Prashanth Kumar Rai are back together. It would not be bad if Guman Singh keeps his place in the starting lineup either.
The depth in the raiding department is easily better than the Telugu Titans.
The defense for the Patna Pirates has also been one of the best this season. Neeraj Kumar and Mohammadreza are both at their best and will certainly fancy their chances against the Telugu Titans.
No team averages more tackle points per match than the Patna Pirates. This ruthlessness of their defense is what has allowed their readers to attack without fear as well.
