Puneri Paltan
Puneri Paltan was very poor against the Jaipur Pink Panthers and the inexperience of the lineup showed. Aslam Inamdar was unable to get going and Pankaj Mohite (brought back into the team) was ineffective as well. Puneri Paltan just did not have any offense with which to fight back against the Jaipur Pink Panthers.
It cannot afford to be so off the pace against a team like the Bengal Warriors. Even in lot form, the Warriors have a strong defense.
Puneri Paltan's own defense is not bad but it is not among the best either. We have seen many times in the Pro Kabaddi League that the defense can keep you in the game but it is the raiders that will eventually win it.
At the moment, Puneri Paltan is just not able to find an answer to it's problems and we think expecting Aslam Inamdar to be the answer was a bit premature.
Bengal Warriors
Mohammad Nabibakhsh and Maninder Singh will be livid with their team's performances do far. The two of them have been carrying the rest of the squad but that had not been enough against the better teams.
Sukesh Hegde as the backup raider had been terrible. He had been slow, timid, and is not anticipating the moves of the defense well enough right now. The Bengal Warriors may will look to swap him out.
Abozar Mighani in the defense also needs to step up and take charge of the defense. It is going to be down to Maninder and Nabibakhsh to get the job done once more in this match and we expect them to bring their A game.
The Bengal Warriors have 16.43 successful raids per match, right among the best in the league. This is where we expect them to distinguish themselves from Puneri Paltan in this match.
We are going to back the Bengal Warriors to win. They are a much better side with a more settled lineup than Puneri Paltan. They should be able to win quite comfortably.
