Puneri Paltan
Puneri Paltan was all but out of contention after a horrific first half of the season but they kept on trying and now have their destiny in their own hands. With just one loss in its previous nine matches, Puneri Paltan is in exceptional form. Aslam Inamdar and Mohit Goyat have set the PKL ablaze with their energy and aggressive raiding. Credit must also be given to Vishal Bhardwaj and Sombir who have been brilliant in defense.
Puneri Paltan knows it has to win and there is no other option. That clarity will give it purpose and allow it to play aggressively.
Bengal Warriors
An excellent performance by Maninder Singh brought the Bengal Warriors a consolation win in their previous match. This match against Puneri Paltan is going to be their final match of the PKL 2021-22 season and it is a bit sad to see the defending champions out of the playoffs. Their side has been riddled with defensive errors and is just too dependent on Maninder Singh to carry it through.
The equation when Bengal Warriors play is quite simple. If Maninder Singh has a good game then they are in with a chance, otherwise, they will be completely routed.

With 251 points to his name, Maninder Singh has had a terrific PKL 2021-22 season. However, we would argue that Aslam Inamdar with 144 raid points so far has had a bigger impact on his team's fortunes.
