Can young raider Pankaj Mohite and Manjeet find a way past the imposing Dabang Delhi K.C. defense? It is not going to be easy but the two of them certainly have the talent to do so. Pankaj Mohite, in particular, has been fearless in his approach against all the teams. He is quick on his feet and will surely test the Dabang Delhi K.C. defense as well.
Nitin Tomar is going to be in the mix as well but he has looked a shadow of himself so far and we don’t think he is suddenly going to change things around.
The Puneri Paltan defense has been found lacking this season. Only Surjeet Singh is the one player to have been consistent enough on the match. Too many errors from experienced defenders like Girish Maruti Ernak and Hadi Tajik have left Puneri Paltan in a very tough spot.
Dabang Delhi K.C.
The story of this season for Dabang Delhi K.C. has become all about one man’s incredible record-breaking run. Naveen Kumar has 16 consecutive Super-10’s this season now and it is almost becoming a formality now.
Naveen Kumar was not at his best in the previous match and still managed to get past the Super-10 milestone with ease. He is very motivated and will have another notch on his belt if things go his way.
Chandran Ranjeet and Vijay have also been in superb form. In fact, it was Naveen that turned things around with a monster six-point raid in the previous match as well.
With the raiding department sorted out, the defense is also keeping up and making sure that the team does not lag behind in any aspect of the game.
Joginder Narwal and Ravinder Pahal have been at their best this season and are leading the Dabang Delhi K.C. title charge.
Puneri Paltan holds a slim 8-6 advantage over Dabang Delhi K.C. in head to head matches. This season, though, Dabang Delhi K.C. has lost just two matches, the least for any side in the PKL and has already beaten Puneri Paltan convincingly as well.
Puneri Paltan has some talented raiders to make this match interesting but winning it is going to be very tough. Dabang Delhi K.C. has the best raider in the league and a very tight defense to back him up.
