Siddharth Desai is currently in the top-5 raiders of the league but his performance this season is still considered a major let-down. He has not been able to dominate like last season and has not been able to win matches for his side.
Even in the crunch situations, Siddharth Desai has been found wanting.
These last two matches are more opportunities for him to get his form and technique right as he starts to prepare for the next season. Rakesh Gowda showed some good form for the Telugu Titans in the previous match and is likely to get more chances as well.
The lead defenders, Vishal Bhardwaj and Abozar Mohajermighani, have already been rested and look unlikely to play any further role in PKL 2019.
Gujarat Fortunegiants
This is the last match for the Gujarat Fortunegiants as they finally to come a season that never went right for them. This is the worst performance from their side in any PKL season. A lot of introspection, some much-needed changes to the squad, and maybe even a change in the coaching staff is needed for the Gujarat Fortunegiants.
Rohit Gulia, GB More, and Sonu Jaglan have one more match to boost their stats while the defense will continue to do what it does best.
We are not expecting anything great out of the Gujarat Fortunegiants and they are probably just going to be doing the bare minimum needed to appear competitive.
