The Telugu Titans are finally gathering steam and no surprises, it's Siddharth Desai that is helping them make this late charge. The best defender of the PKL last season, Siddharth Desai is finally showing signs of returning to his dominant self.
He scored 22 points in the previous match and was pretty much unstoppable.
He is going to have an eye on a massive win in this match as well to try and give his side a chance. Siddharth Desai is being helped by Rajneesh in the raiding department. This is the original raiding duo that the Telugu Titans started PKL 2019 with and so it is kind of ironic in a way that they have circled back to them.
Vishal Bhardwaj and Abozar Mohajermighani will be leading the defense and making sure that Pankaj Mohite is kept in check. Vishal Bhardwaj and company were left short the last time these two teams met and we expect them to be better prepared this time around.
Puneri Paltan
There is nothing left for Puneri Paltan to aim at in this season. They have crashed out of the race for the playoffs and are only playing for pride. Looking back at this season, though, we don’t think they are going to be too unhappy.
Injuries and poor form made them look towards their youngsters and two of them have come out very strong indeed.
We are talking about Pankaj Mohite and Manjeet, the two raiders for Puneri Paltan. We think that one of them could go on to have a long career with Puneri Paltan while the other may be traded for a lot of value.
Girish Maruti Ernak and Surjeet Singh are going to have to lead the defense against Siddharth Desai. This is not an easy task when Desai is in form and both the defenders will have to be at their best.
The head to head between the two teams is deadlocked at 6-6 with one additional game ending in a tie.
We think that Siddharth Desai is going to make the difference in this match and help the Telugu Titans get another win.
