Match Analysis
Telugu Titans have not been able to find the right rhythm at the start of PKL 9. Siddharth Desai is available and playing but he is almost a shadow of himself. Commentators may shout 'Baahubali' every time they see him but Desai has to prove himself on the mat once more. With him underperforming, the rest of the team is getting dragged out as well.
Monu Goyat is another star that is perhaps past his best. The defense for the Telugu Titans has some big names like Vishal Bhardwaj and Parvesh Bhainswal but their recent form is not encouraging. A lot of big names on paper but none that seem to perform just yet is the story of the Telugu Titans so far.
Puneri Paltan has one of the most impressive and dynamic raiders in Aslam Inamdar. It is hard to take your eyes off him when he is on the mat and his quickness is truly dazzling. If Mohit Goyat can get a bit of momentum into his game as well, Puneri Paltan could find the same kind of form that they ended with last season. Mohammad Nabibaksh and Fazel Atrachali are two massively experienced players to have in the defense.
Despite the poor start, we think Puneri Paltan has a lot of potential and upside moving forward.

We are going to back Puneri Paltan to win. We think Puneri Paltan has more options to attack with and its defense is just getting used to the new structure it has adopted. It has more quality than the Telugu Titans that seem a bit too reliant on past glory.
