Telugu Titans
The Telugu Titans put up an excellent fight against Puneri Paltan in the previous match but could not get the win. Actually, the Telugu Titans defense was spectacular and almost covered for the complete failure to score points from its raiding unit.
Vishal Bhardwaj, C Arun, and Abozar Mohajermighani helped lead the defense to a record seven Super Tackles but it was still not enough because their backs were always against the wall. Siddharth Desai seemed to have hit some form but had a terrible match as he looked lead-footed and short of ideas.
The Tamil Thalaivas are not in good form but they still have some talented defenders that can make life tough for the Desai brothers once again. Hopefully, Siddharth Desai, Suraj Desai, and Farhad Milagharden are able to pull their weight in this match.
Tamil Thalaivas
The wheels are falling off the Tamil Thalaivas as they continue to suffer a disastrous loss of form at a crucial juncture in the league. For all the talent that the Tamil Thalaivas have on paper, they have only been able to win three matches out of the twelve they have played.
Rahul Chaudhari and Ajay Thakur are unable to score points consistently enough or in the required quantity to make a difference to their side. They are senior enough to command a prolonged run and that is preventing promising youngsters like Ajeeth from making their mark as well.
Manjeet Chillar made a lot of errors in the previous match as he tried to take the game to Pawan Kumar Sehrawat. He may need to do the same against Siddharth Desai but will have to ensure that he has a better strike rate this time around.
The Tamil Thalaivas desperately need a win and this seems like a good opportunity to do so but if they fail to win this match then their season is going to fall off a cliff.
The head to head between the two side sis very close with a 4-3 lead for the Telugu Titans. Vishal Bhardwaj is the leading defender of PKL 2019 with 42 tackle points to his name.
We think the Telugu Titans are going to brush off their defeat in the previous game and come back stronger. They have three wins and a tie in the matches before the previous one. The exception form of Vishal Bhardwaj also gives them an advantage.
