UP Yoddha
This entire season for UP Yoddha has been about trying to get its players to be at their best. There is enough talent in the side for it to be taken seriously but it seems to be playing a level below what it is capable of.
Monu Goyat, Rishank Devadiga, and Shrikant Jadhav are three fantastic raiders. Neither of them has been in top-gear and that is hurting UP Yoddha. All three of them have to raise their game against a side whose defense can be put under pressure.
The story of the defense has also been the same. Sumit has been brilliant in the left corner and Nitesh Kumar is in a class of his own but unforced errors have taken the sheen off of their performances. Maybe being pitted against the best raider of the Pro Kabaddi League 2019 is going to get them to concentrate harder.
Bengaluru Bulls
What good is having a gun in your ranks if you are afraid to use it? That is exactly what the Bengaluru Bulls fans were wondering in the previous game? Rohit Kumar seemed hell-bent on proving his own place in the side as he kept taking more raids even when Pawan Kumar Sehrawat was on the mat.
The end result was not pretty and the Bengaluru Bulls finished on the losing side in a match that they should have won against the Haryana Steelers. We are hopeful that the same mistake will not be made this time around.
The defense of the Bengaluru Bulls has not been great. Mahender Singh has been good, as expected, but Amit Sheoran and Saurabh Nandal have not been up to the mark. In fact, it has been Pawan Kumar Sehrawat who has been coming up with some crucial tackles to make his mark on the defense as well.
The defending champions are winning matches but their team is not without its flaws.
The Bengaluru Bulls have won five out of the six matches they have played against UP Yoddha in the past. That is a huge advantage and will definitely play a psychological role in this match.
We think the Bengaluru Bulls have the talent to be able to recover from their last defeat and continue to pile on the misery on UP Yoddha.
