UP Yoddha
A win against the Bengal Warriors in their previous match just underlines that UP Yoddha is now a genuine title contender in PKL 2021-22. The team managed to withstand a 19 point assault from Maninder Singh thanks to an excellent defensive performance from Nitesh Kumar and Sumit. The defense was certainly not error-free but it did deliver when it mattered the most.
Also, Pardeep Narwal and Surender Gill picked up nine points each in that match to somewhat neutralize Maninder Singh. The fact that most of UP Yoddha's team is now performing has to be seen as a big win for it. The experience is certainly present in the team and now with four wins and a tie in its most recent five matches, the consistency also seems to have been achieved.
Haryana Steelers
The Haryana Steelers managed to get past Dabang Delhi KC in its previous outing. The fact that Naveen Kumar was not available for Dabang Delhi KC cannot be held against the Haryana Steelers. That win was their second in succession after a three-match winless streak. This inconsistency in the performances is something that has haunted the Haryana Steelers for quite some time now.
Meetu, Vikash Kandola, and an excellent defense make the Haryana Steelers very tough to play against. It is almost as if a guessing game as to which Haryana Steelers will come on the mat because the difference in performances is so big.
Jaideep has been the find of the tournament for the Haryana Steelers. With 40 tackle points to his name, Jaideep is currently second on the list for the most successful defenders in PKL 2021-22.
We are going to bet on UP Yoddha to win. This could be a close game and you should definitely hedge with a small bet on the tie as well. UP Yoddha has the upper hand in the raiding department while both teams seem to have a strong defense that is currently in good form. The experience of UP Yoddha could come to the fire in this match.
Bet on UP Yoddha to win.
